The ultra-luxury retail expansion of The Dubai Mall
The construction area of the Fashion Avenue expansion is approximately 300,000 sqm, adding 1 million sq. ft built-up area, and extends the existing Fashion Avenue into one of the largest fashion retail areas in the worldenhancing the city’s high end retail offerings and further catering to the international demographics of Dubai’s tourists.
Fashion Avenue Expansion brings hotel style 5-star service to its shopping experience and adds more than 200 luxury brands to its existing portfolio.Home of the world's most coveted fashion houses, the Fashion Expansion is the new home of luxury.
The expansion is adding a retail inventory of new high-end outlets including a 5,000 sqm flagship perfumery store and some of the most renowned international brand names such as Gucci, Prada, Rolex, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana and Hermes, all occupy a flagship boutiques in the main entrance of the expansion.
Hussam Raouf, Head of the Retail Real Estate portfolio of Emaar Malls Group at the time was in charge of the entire Retail projects from inception to Planning across Development, Design, Construction and Operation.
